Introduction
DiviNet Access Technologies Limited was incorporated in March 1999. Headquartered in Pune - India, DiviNet was converted into a limited company in the year 2001 and achieved ISO/2000 certification in 2003.
DiviNet first developed an innovative and advanced, cost-effective broadband access mechanism through an intelligent Metropolitan Area Network (MAN) and capacity to deliver multiple services at affordable cost. At this time the ADSL technology was not yet stabilized.
This project has been funded by the New Millennium Indian Technology Leadership Initiative (NMITLI) from CSIR, Govt. of India.
Divinet also has developed innovative, award winning Multiplay convergence technologies that support applications such as video on demand, IPTV, gaming etc. over a broadband infrastructure.
Apart from standard IPTV services, Divinet has developed innovative services on this platform to cater to Indian and global market. The services are interactive classroom/Tutoring, Online interactive education and Video Phone.
