In fact, the WICE T-Class learning platform is even better than a common classroom. Its powerful multimedia capabilities empower the teachers by increasing the effectiveness of their classes and ensure that students understand concepts better and score more marks.
The WICE T-Class learning platform also allows an educational institution to use their resources better by allowing them to employ the services of subject experts from around the world to assist their local teachers and to offer new courses to students.
The WICE T-Class learning platform is better than other e-learning technologies such as Satellite telecast, Web conferencing and Video conferencing using V-sat due to low cost of delivery and simplicity.
How it Works
Students visit the local College/ Coaching Class/ Study Centre/ WICE T-Class Centre. The entire class logs into the live pre-scheduled interactive class via our set-top box which displays the "virtual classroom" on a shared projector. Using a simple remote control, the local teacher conducts the class in collaboration with the Subject Expert. No computer is required. Alternatively, the students can attend the class through individual WICE T-Class set-top boxes at their respective homes.
The Subject Expert sits inside an AV enabled studio from where he/she controls the display and flow of content. He/she speaks into the studio microphone and camera to broadcast his/her videos, slide show presentations, and other course content. In addition, he/she writes on a tablet (writing pad) and his handwriting is displayed instantaneously and in real-time on the virtual blackboard.
Students can see and hear the Subject Expert and view content. The Subject Expert engages the students in various learning activities. Students can interact and give feedback via interactive tools.
